What this service costs

Costs are tailored to your specific needs and use of the service.  

You could seek professional advice from a solicitor who will may charge in the region of £150 to £200 per hour. However, a solicitor is not likely to have the day-to-day experience of the admissions process, together with application of the legal processes.

Initial Consultation

An initial telephone conversation where we can discuss why you were refused a place and what you can do next.  We will discuss the impact the refusal has had on your child and your family and how you can begin to collect evidence to support your appeal.

You don't have to go on to use any of our other services.  You may find that this call has given you enough information and support in itself.  However, if you do go on to use either our Admission Statement Report or Full Service, the cost of the initial consultation is deducted from the cost.

The initial phone call usually last around 30 to 45 minutes.  When booking an appointment, please let us know the name of the school(s) you have been refused and which council area you live in.

The cost of the initial consultation telephone call is £50

Single Session Support: 

A one off telephone session at a time convenient with you.   Following your initial consultation we will look further at your child's circumstances and any issues relating to your appeal.     We will look at the key points of your appeal, including what to focus on in your appeal submission.

The cost of this consultation is £80 and includes a writen report outlining the issues discussed and questions you may wish to ask at appeal.

Admission Authority Statement Report:

Send us a copy of the appeal statement from the school's admission authority and we'll go through it and   send you a written report with questions you can ask to challenge the report.   We will also call you prior to the appeal to discuss any last minute questions so that you go into your appeal feeling as confident as possible.  

The cost is £150 (£100 if you have already paid for the initial consultation)

Email Support:

Questions answered by email.   We respond within 24 hours (48 hours   at weekends).   Send us your questions, we'll research the answer and get back to you.

The charge is £35 for upto 3 emails. 

Full Support Service:

  • Feedback on any written submissions you make about your appeal
  • Up to three x 1 hour telephone consultations to help prepare your appeal
  • Research into the admissions process for the school(s) you have been refused
  • Report to supporting   phone calls, outlining relevant point
  • Written report on the admission authority's case,   suggesting questions you may wish to ask at the appeal
  • Unlimited email access throughout the appeals process with responses normally within 24 hours (48 at weekends)

The average time spent working on your appeal this way is around 15 hours.  

The Cost for the full service is £450 (£400 if you have already paid for the initial consultation)

Appealing for more than one school:

If you are appealing for more than one school the cost of the second Admission Authority Statement report is £95 (including follow-up phone call).   The additional cost on the full service support is a £100 for each additional school appeal.

We believe that you are the best person to represent your son or daughter.
